Family Life on the Map app for iPhone and iPad

"Family Life on the Map" is a special social app for geo tracking, short messaging and location discovery which connects between only two users. Nearly all other social networking apps are for friends or professionals to stay connected, but family members and couples, with the most essential, enduring and engaging relationship, do not have an app specially designed to meet their unique needs. "Family Life on the Map" closes this gap by providing intimate and secure communications for any two people with the closest relationship such as husband-wife, parent-child, young couples or domestic partners.

KEY FEATURES

After you create the paired accounts for you and your partner in the App, you can find his/her current location at any time by a map search; you can update your status to your partner or make quick phone calls based on his/her status. You can send messages in the app to your partner or start quick chatting, and the chatting messages would be pinned in the map so you would never forget when and where the chats had happened. It is like a family diary on map. While you are using the app, it is automatically building the location database for you in the background so you can go back to any of your previous locations with a simple click.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

Privacy and security are the most important factors of any social networking apps. "Family Life on the Map" tried best to protect user privacy and security, it only sends and receives data between the paired phones and all user data are saved only locally on users phone (with iCloud support for on-demand backup and restore). Any server copy of the data is immediately deleted by the receiving user after the data is delivered. The data is always sent to the paired person so you will never need to worry about clicking wrong button by sending messages to wrong person.

SHARING & DISCOVERING

If you like, you can also share your family moments in the app with other families, or take a sneak view of the precious moments shared by them. All users of the app, therefore, make up a bigger family.

GETTING STARTED

1) During first launch, you can signup new accounts for both you and your partner by providing first names and mobile phone numbers for both of you. After successful signup, you can send the app-generated email with account information to your partner for him/her to download and log into his/her account (no need for him/her to signup again).

2) Please allow location services for the app upon request during launch because location is essential for the app to provide rich experience for the users.

3. You can start sending messages or chats to your partners or use the location discovery function of the app. Your partner will get all these messages and chats after he/she login the app with the paired accounts you created for both.

4). You can backup and restore your personal data in the app. It requires you to turn on iCloud account if you have not. For privacy and security purpose, the data is only backed up to your iCloud account.

5). You can send email to the support account with your questions or suggestions by going to More -> About and Help page.
